The Mullumbimby Community Garden has evolved from humble beginnings into a wonderful community resource. It is now a hive of activity with permaculture courses and work for the dole projects on just about every day of the week. Apart from providing fresh food to the most vulnerable, it is undergoing a nursery renovation so it can get serious about growing it’s own seedlings. These will stock the food for all garden and be for sale to the plot holders. Part of the garden’s metamorphosis over the years has been the formation of Mullum Seed. This is an umbrella organisation that sponsors many ethical and environmental projects around the shire. The Bunya Foundation was part of this restructure to enable tax deductibility status. All three entities needed a separate but unifying logo concept. All three now cheerfully use these logos and it has given the garden a recognisable branding and color scheme.
